Absolutely MUST change mantling issues, horrible balance to kill vehicles, all weapons need to be across all operators, movement needs to be faster, etc. I love it though. I don't understand how to control recoil on some guns.

So here is something you need to know: the bots react to how good you get in the match. It wasn't like this the first days but they implemented a sort of learning system for them. As you progress with points, rank, kills etc. they will start focusing you more and more and start pulling off some insane stuff. These are not players as they sit around running in a circle or just simply spawn and just aim lock you across the map. This is the first game i see where an AI learning model has been implemented this way. I understand why they did it BUT they need to tone it down a bit since once they get on the AA or UCAV/AT4 they start pulling some insane shots especially against vehicles. As a vehicle guy with above 30 KD most of all matches i can see this super clearly but it's a lot less noticeable when you are on the ground so that's why people didn't catch on yet. Skilled inf players are starting to finally notice this as they get better but yeah IMHO it's super interesting what they did; they just need to tone it down a bit.

These Weapon Build Codes are not working for me somehow. I did make sure the Weapon i wanted to use it on was Max LvL, it even finds the Build but i can´t apply it. Anyone else with this issue?

While 2042 was no doubt one of the most disappointing battlefield releases, I don’t think it’s fair to say 2042 hasn’t come to a solid point gameplay wise. Personally I think the gunplay in 2042 is easily some the smoothest out of any modern fps.

Just FYI, Twitch drops rounds 4, 5, 6 & 7 account for 150,000 keys alone. Then there were all the original day 1 keys, the first 3 rounds of Twitch drops, the 1k keys per day since August 12th AND all the other discord give aways, and partner keys. It's wayyyy more than we know, but we have no visibility of the Level Infinite Launcher concurrent player base. Given that the ratio seems to be about 2:1 Level Infinite to Steam, it looks like peak times we could expect about 30 to 60k concurrent players, based on Steam DB player info Obviously this is cigarette packet maths and based on the key amounts that the developers are saying in their discord....

I agree with all this AI issues. Its quite annoying feeling so inadequate as a player as I just die so quickly and so regularly. Also the spawning in right next to what I presume is AI and just simply dying with no chance at attempting to save myself at all. Its crazy seeing a dozen people/AI also spawning on thew same area at same time as well, its just nuts. Spread out the spawn at random sites or something, its just rinse and repeat again better performing AI. Its a fun game nonetheless. I would like the pacing to slow down just a little as well, doesnt need to be quite so fast and frantic

Unfortunately for me, this game does not really hype me up, like Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 & 4 did! Maybe it will in time with more tweaks. And hopefully bots removed from pvp servers, or at least only there till a server fills up, because i hate bots in pvp modes!

I can’t be the only person on the planet who thinks this is basically just aliexpress battlefield. Clunky, laggy, and with terrible netcode.

If they don't have OCE servers come early access I stg.. I'd take playing on SEA servers, anything other than NA or EU. We need confirmation supported regions.

Yeah it's a big issue, you're not the only one who thinks that. I swear they must use Engineer too as I get absolutely beamed from some wild distances with Rockets when I'm in the tank. Also you give the SR-3m a try. It really needs the extended mag and some attachments to get the recoil under control but once you do it's wild. Maybe the fastest TTK in the game with the high damage and high rof

AI having a learning function isn't new to games. The AI from Battlefront II (2005) would actually copy and learn your movements through the progression of a save file and begin to employ them, even if it was incredibly limited for the time. I can't comprehend how bad it would be with a modern game and the increased data storage that modern servers have. It's bad enough getting sniped by the AI in 2042 who have a rocket launcher or the 60mm mortar on a tank.

I hope im not the only one who experiences this, but i think the update that came out today turned down the bots a lot. Feels like the games are much more playable after it

you have to remember that the game isn't actual out yet since they are only letting so many people play at the moment, you have to request to play and so many people aren't getting invited. Once the game goes live for everyone i doubt you'll see AI players very often if the game holds player counts. at least in my opinion.

*rolls eyes* I mean... Its a closed alpha with a very low concurrent player count. The devs even stated that they chose to implement bots into the closed testing to provide a low matchmaking wait time. If you have an issue or suggestion, let the devs know directly in their discord? I highly doubt when this is open to the public there will not be nearly any bots. Lets say every single person of the 50k keys actually played the game more than 30 min and didn't go back to whatever else their friends have access to. Thats 50k players total across all regions, all time zones, and all preferred game types. How many of that 50k are on YOUR server at any given moment? 5k would be generous. Each game last 20-30 min give or take... queue times are less than 2 min. Meaning they would need to have a pool of games that run concurrently each containing 64 "players". I don't think that is sustainable at all without AI. ALso... its Alpha... so like... again give the feedback that their AI Learning is a little too aggressive. seems obvious if you think about it for two and a half minutes... coincidentally the same amount of time it took you to get to the point.

I honestly thought there were hackers already with how I was getting beamed cross-map with a default CAR15. Also these bots DONT REVIVE.

i was so fucking confused when i had, multiple games in a row, the most odd, strange teammates in the extraction mode. i thought for sure something weird was happening when i had to try to res my two team mates 6 times in a row, each, next to a minefield because every single time they would get up they would run around in circles in the minefield until they blew up both themselves and me. exact same thing happened 2 games in a row and just blew my mind, i really, really hope they were in fact ai, because if not.. jeez.

That's kinda a roundabout way to say the game got filled with cheaters. I'm always hesitant to call beaming players but I can confidently identify ESP hackers who magically know where I am and autoclick hackers. There's this one guy in Asia server who either has godly aim AND reflexes to perfectly land 4 hits with the VSS (33 dmg with 480 rpm iirc) even when multiple people are flanking him from different angles or he's a autoclick cheater with ESP and aimbot. Conveniently his username might be on the latest banned list the devs published on news section. Frankly I'm more disappointed with ESP hackers. They're so blatant.

107 good score but more impressive was the lady who went 50-15 with 28saves. Playing his character correctly. Trouble with this game is medics playing as individuals

i think its because of the alpha only being on pc and only being selected players it really lowers the amount of people who can play
